American School of Antananarivo
The American School of Antananarivo (ASA) has been founded in September 1969 to satisfy mainly American students in grades 1-8.
In 1971, the school had seven teachers and 45 students.
In 1972, the ASA moved to its second location in Ambodivoanjo Ivandry, where it remained for 45 years.
Today, in its beautiful new building, ASA has over 240 students of 31 nationalities and 60 faculty and staff members from 12 different countries. While they have grown and continue to grow, they continue in taking care of traditions and honour their past.
Olis serves hot meals daily to all students and teachers in this thriving school. With the installation of two saucepans, pasta cookers, potato and food warmers, a gas cooker divided into 8 different locations, and an oven, the service is fast and well organised.
